Overview

Hancock Health in Greenfield, Indiana, is actively recruiting for a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist. This is an employed position with competitive starting salary, comprehensive benefit package which includes health, dental, HSA, matching 401K or Roth IRA, employer paid life insurance, short and long term disability and malpractice insurance. Open to part or full time options.

Practice is open 8am-5pm, Monday – Friday. Schedule template will be coordinated upon candidate’s preferences as long as it coincides with schedules or other providers in the practice.

Counselors take first call, then it goes to the psychiatrist if counselor is unable to proceed with patient.

Candidate must be BE/BC.

Open to either new graduate or practicing physician.

Current practice consists of: Dr. Melinda Cobb (18 years), Dr. Delynn Williams (10 years), Dr. Ben McAllister (4 years), one PhD, 6 LCSWs, and 1 Nurse Practitioner.

Will see on average 15-18 patients per day.

Meditech EMR system in place.

Sign on bonus, residency education stipend, student loan reimbursement and relocation expenses will be considered. Full time gets 25 days of vacation, 6 holidays, 5 CME days plus $5,000 CME funds annually. Part-time is pro-rated based on number of hours they work.

Hancock Health is a 70 bed hospital providing Hancock County with the services of a full service community hospital with a focus on primary care, patient comfort and convenience. Hancock Health offers a high percentage of private rooms, a highly skilled medical and professional nursing staff. A state of the art surgery department, 24 hour emergency services, OB services, progressive and critical care, gero-psych unit, home healthcare, occupational health, transitional care unit, total oncology program including state of the art radiation oncology center, and a full compliment of inpatient and outpatient services.

With unemployment rates among the lowest in the nation, Greenfield boasts thousands of manufacturing, service, and professional jobs. Greenfield is also home of rich cultural and recreational resources from its schools and library to its parks and historic downtown. Greenfield is close to big city amenities (just 15 minutes east of Indianapolis) but maintains its own small town identity and sense of close knit community.
