MMH Service Area

Margaret Mary Health is located in Batesville, Indiana and serves more than 65,000 residents in Ripley, Franklin and the surrounding counties with a wide range of inpatient/outpatient care, emergency services, cancer care, orthopedics and rehabilitation. MMH is located conveniently off I-74 between Cincinnati and Indianapolis.

Recently Recognized

In 2025, MMH’s maternity department received the Community Impact Award from the Indiana Department of Health and the Indiana State Office of Rural Health. In response to a neonatal provider shortage, MMH partnered with Riley Children’s Health to establish a neonatal-trained advanced practice team supported by remote neonatology specialists — allowing services to continue locally.
