Hendricks Regional Health
Why Hendricks Regional Health?
Our origins began when a group of residents wanted to build a hospital in their community, and worked together to bring their dream to life. More than 55 years later, it’s still how we do things. We create practice environments that are team-focused and fully integrated for a holistic approach to care. We believe in building a strong preventative health model that puts patients, not volumes, first.
While many people come to Hendricks Regional Health for advanced, 24/7 emergency care, our regional health system is also committed to caring for the community before they need hospital care. Since opening in 1962, we have become a community service leader by our commitment to improving lives through health education and screenings; scholarships; and partnerships with other philanthropic and service agencies.
Hendricks Regional Health is a place for you to grow as a physician and advanced practice provider at an independent health system. Here you are a part of a strong, rooted community that truly cares, and you’ll be surrounded by people who make you feel right at home.
My one-year-old was taken into ER for febrile seizure, fever, vomiting. Nurses and doctors were very informative and thorough. They made sure we understood everything going on. She ended up being admitted and the pediatrics unit was wonderful! Everyone was so friendly, helpful and understanding.
I just delivered at Hendricks on the 14th & I cannot say enough how phenomenal our entire stay was. The doctors were amazing & our nurses went above and beyond!! I was a little sad coming home having to leave them (lol) they made our stay as comforting as possible. Thank you a million times—our family is grateful!!
I don’t feel like a number at Hendricks Hospital. Friendly, professional staff. I felt well cared for.
My 4-month-old had to have labs and a chest X-ray. They had us in and out very quickly and were very helpful. They pushed my stroller for me so I could hold and cuddle my little guy after labs were drawn. I was very happy with my experience at HRH!
Went to the ER for abdominal pain and they took me right back to a room and got to work right away to figure out what was wrong. After some tests we found out I had appendicitis. They quickly got me admitted and scheduled for surgery. All the nurses and staff were very nice and caring. The surgeon and OR staff were also amazing. I will say that this is one of the best hospital experiences that I have had!
The entire staff was amazing!! I had to arrive at 6am for my foot surgery. Every single staff member I met, from the reception desk, admitting, SIX nurses, anesthesiologist, recovery & dismissal, was friendly, helpful, reassuring, kind. I can’t find enough good words to say about them all! It was my first experience at this hospital and it was worth the trip.
Always awesome! I have lived in Hendricks County a long time and have been there multiple times. They are always very helpful and caring.
My daughter broke her arm in a bike wreck on 4th of July! They were waiting for her at the door when she arrived! They were gentle and kind and made her feel at ease even though she was miserable! Thank you Hendricks! We love you guys and would never go anywhere else if we could keep from it! Our family loves you! You’ve been there for 16 years for us.
The Nurses in IV therapy are professional and skilled. They do a great job keeping your treatment on schedule and are very considerate of your time. A special thanks to the Nurses in IV therapy.
I just delivered at Hendricks and I cannot say enough how amazing everyone was during our stay at HRH! The entire staff was so kind and helpful but our nurses were absolutely phenomenal! I’m not exaggerating when I say I cried happy, thankful tears for them at one point and yeah, there are the hormones but I think that emotion was of itself. In two short days they supported us, advocated for us, taught us and cared for us. Thank you so much!
