Family Medicine Core Faculty opportunity with Marion Health Family Medicine Residency. Join a community-based residency accredited by ACGME. Engage with our traditional 3-year rural tracks, that emphasizes a full-spectrum of practical primary care for local populations. The goal is to develop family medicine academic leaders who will transform the American healthcare system. Interested candidates must be board-certified in Family Medicine and have a vision for developing and innovating our FM residency.
Opportunity Highlights:
- Opportunity to work with the Residency Director to help develop and expand upon the traditional core curriculum.
- As a core faculty member of a family medicine residency, the incoming physician will educate residents within both bedside, clinic office and classroom settings.
- Be employed by Marion Health ranked one of the top 100 hospital by the National Rural Health Association based on the evaluation conducted by the Chartis Center for Rural Health.

Key responsibilities include:
- Ensure maintenance of accreditation at the highest possible level
- Ensure optimal resident recruiting
- Ensure fiscal stability of the program by understanding and actively participating in the budget process
- Ensure that the program’s broader relationships in our engaged communities are as healthy as possible.
