Resident Creates AI Alternative to US News Med School Ranking

For years the annual US News and World Report has been a resource for pre-med students when determining their top choices regarding medical education programs. However, an Oncology resident recently developed a tool with the help of AI to include additional metrics that would rank programs based on factors that are most important to future students. Additional metrics such as cost of attendance, number of graduates that pass board certification, and the representation of minorities in attendance may be areas of interest to students in their program search.
