Henry Community Health Medical Group
Henry Community Health Medical Group encompasses 19 specialties. Allied Health providers are actively used in family medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics/gynecology, anesthesiology, walk-in care, employer clinics, mental health, orthopedics, physiatry and pain management.
Physician leadership, advisement and engagement are essential for future success. Physician engagement includes a High Performance Medical Group (HPMG) in addition to the Leadership Cabinet. The HPMG Primary Care Group and the HPMG Specialty Group each meet bi-monthly and focus on operations, patient satisfaction, Clinician & Group-Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CG-CAHPS), quality, access, growth strategies and recruitment.
The Leadership Cabinet collaborates with administration and the Board of Trustees to develop strategic goals and initiatives and help define the future direction the system needs to take. Physicians from the HPMG Executive Committee and physician representatives from radiology, emergency, hospitalists, cardiology and anesthesiology meet twice a year with administration and the Board of Trustees.
It is imperative the Hospital and physician practices are equally engaged and aligned on key initiatives. A Physician Performance Scorecard and Incentive Bonus Plan for employed physicians is similar to the one used for Care Team members. The Physician Scorecard includes measurements in four categories: Finance/Growth, Service/Guest Satisfaction, Quality and Alignment Initiatives such as meeting Meaningful Use.
